Dyslexia Advocacy
As a former English and Learning Support teacher, Thea is perfectly placed to offer parents advice about what help and support is available for dyslexic children from schools and the SQA.
Thea Campbell can provide dyslexia advocacy and representation to make sure that children receive the help and support they are entitled to under the Education (Scotland) Additional Support for Learning Act, 2004 and 2009, as well as the Equality Act and Disability Discrimination Act.
This may take the form of advising on the most appropriate alternative arrangements for school or SQA examinations, or writing reports and attending meetings to liaise with relevant staff members at school.
